Practice Information

I offer one-on-one and relationship counselling for adults who identify as Autistic or ADHD. Many of the clients I work alongside are just starting to explore what it means to be neurodivergent, and they’re looking to better understand themselves and how they move through the world.

Having ADHD or Autism can certainly be challenging, but one of the biggest struggles is not having clear and empowering information. Without that, it can be hard to find the tools needed to build a life that feels right.

If you’re just learning about ADHD or Autism, you might feel nervous about what it means or even sad that you didn’t know sooner. Without support and good strategies, life can feel confusing and overwhelming. I believe everyone deserves the chance to understand themselves in a kind and affirming way.

Some of the common things I help clients with include:

  • Feeling guilty or ashamed a lot
  • Worrying a lot about what others think or feeling nervous in social situations
  • Rejection Sensitivity
  • Feeling like they’re not good enough (low self-confidence)
  • Struggles with the inner critic and perfectionism
  • Having really big emotions that feel hard to control
  • Finding it tough to build strong, lasting relationships
  • Learning how to set healthy boundaries and clearly communicate needs
  • Dealing with anxiety or depression
  • Managing overwhelm from too much noise, light or activity if they’re highly sensitive
  • Struggling with things like starting a task, staying organized, managing time, or acting on impulse
  • Coping with grief or loss

As the person supporting you in this work, I bring special training in neurodiversity-affirming care. This means I use a strengths-based approach that helps us look at your unique experiences with kindness and without judgment. Together, we work to bring more balance, understanding, and ease into your life. This might include anything from creating a life that better fits your neurodivergent needs, to working through grief, or finding more space for acceptance and joy.

You can visit my website (highlighted in orange above) to set up a free, low-pressure chat about what kind of support might help.

Recovering from Neurodivergent Burnout

Are you feeling totally exhausted? Do even small daily tasks feel impossible? You might be experiencing neurodivergent burnout. This is more than just being tired. It happens when your brain and body are working too hard in a world that isn’t built for neurodivergent people. As a neurodivergent therapist, I want you to know: burnout is not your fault. Your brain and body are just telling you to slow down. Recovery is not about “fixing yourself.” It’s about resting, taking care of yourself, and finding ways to live that work for you. What Burnout Feels Like Some common signs of burnout include…
