Counselling Practice Website
Practice Information
I work with neurodiverse clients, including adults and children with ADHD, autism or complex developmental needs, and I support parents navigating the challenges of raising children with diverse abilities. I provide a safe, strengths-focused space to explore emotions, build skills, and create practical strategies for resilience and connection.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor based in Squamish, BC, offering phone and video services to children (8+), youth, and adults across Alberta and British Columbia. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
My practice is rooted in creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly. I believe in the power of strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust and respect. My goal is to help you navigate challenges and gain self-awareness, reduce emotional distress and build resilience, develop practical mental health strategies, and feel empowered to reach your full potential.

Counselling Approach
I use a client-centered, integrative approach, drawing from CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles to help you explore and heal inner parts of yourself with compassion and curiosity. I tailor interventions to meet your unique needs and provide a practical, personalized counselling experience. I am trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and provide affirming support to clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds.
Drawing on my experience as a teacher specializing in mental health and special education, I bring a compassionate, holistic approach, prioritizing solution- and strength-based strategies.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Education, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Special Education, and a Masters in Aboriginal Education. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
