Practice Information
I am a registered psychologist with extensive experience and commitment to supporting people’s work through life’s challenges.
I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, collaborative space where you can feel heard, and empowered to move forward at your own pace and in your own way. My goal is to help you realize self understanding and compassion. My goal is to help you widen your perspective which allows you to be better able to function in the world and feel more purposeful and peaceful within yourself.
All sessions are offered remotely - through secure video, phone, or telehealth - so you can access support from wherever feels most comfortable and convenient for you.
I work with individuals, couples and families.
I provide support for both short and long term timeframes.
I am a Registered Psychologist with the College of CHCBC and BCPA.
After receiving an MA and PhD from UBC, I created strong relationships with community professional organizations. I served as President and Board member of the Western Canadian Psychodynamic Association. I have been an instructor in Counseling Psychology at UBC, and an oral examiner and supervisor of the BCPA graduate diploma program. I have worked in the community of workshops concerning cross cultural issues and discrimination. I have worked with a number of employment assistance programs. I continue to enhance my professional development through workshops and conferences and two monthly peer groups focusing on theories and cases.
