Rebeka Senanayake

Hi, my name is Rebeka and I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor at Skylark Counselling!

My desire to serve the community in which I grew up in has always been important to me. I have worked at overdose prevention sites, harm reduction residential facilities, suicide crisis lines, and the Employment Family Assistance Program (EFAP). It’s been a privilege to work with such a diverse range of clients. Having lived experience as a first responder, I am aware of how trauma can profoundly impact the mind and body. My areas of expertise include addiction/substance use, ADHD, relationships, grief, anxiety/depression, various traumas, and more. 

I utilize a blend of evidence-based practices including humanistic culturally responsive and socially just approaches (CRSJ). I have specialized training in addiction, relationships, trauma, anxiety and depression.
