Practice Information

I offer virtual counselling for adults and young adults across British Columbia. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, compassionate care and is intended to be a space where you can show up as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out. Therapy with me moves at a pace that feels respectful of your comfort, capacity, and readiness for change.

My work is informed by specialized clinical training in eating disorders, as well as years of experience in community and healthcare settings supporting diverse individuals and families. This background shapes how I work with concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and challenges related to body image, identity, and life transitions. I bring a thoughtful, nuanced approach to care that recognizes the complexity of each person’s experiences and the broader contexts in which they live.

Many people come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin. You may be managing a great deal internally while continuing to function on the outside, or navigating circumstances that have left you feeling disconnected from yourself or others. In our work together, we take time to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and explore what feels most supportive for you.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. Sessions are guided by curiosity, care, and openness, with attention to both emotional understanding and practical support. My role is not to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you as we explore patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be influencing how you relate to yourself and the world around you. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, balance, and meaningful change.

Working across healthcare and community systems has also deepened my awareness of how culture, relationships, identity, and systemic factors can impact mental health and well-being. I strive to offer care that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and attuned to your lived experience.

Virtual counselling offers flexibility and accessibility, allowing therapy to fit more seamlessly into your life. Whether you are seeking support during a period of transition, hoping to better understand yourself, or simply looking for a space to talk things through, therapy can be a place to reconnect with what matters most to you. You do not need to have a clear goal to begin, therapy can start with where you are.
