My aim is to provide a trusting, nonjudgmental space in which you feel comfortable sharing your story. While there is innate wisdom within all of us, our ability to see the way forward can become clouded when we become overwhelmed. A deep exploration of one’s internal experience can be freeing, and provide valuable insight into (often unconscious) patterns of relating to the self, others, and the world around us.

I work primarily from an attachment-based, client-centred orientation, which allows us to work collaboratively in drawing connections between your past experiences and your present situation. Depending on your personal needs, we may draw from a variety of evidence-based interventions which support the development of healthy coping mechanisms, increased motivation, personal insight, and interpersonal skills like boundaries and assertiveness. By fostering a mindful awareness of your present symptoms and concerns, we will be better able to identify the changes you would like to see in your life and how to work towards achieving them.

I completed the Masters of Counselling program at the University of Queensland, Australia. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #18373), I work primarily with those seeking assistance with issues related to stress, depression/ anxiety, anger, relational patterns, past trauma, personal growth, and personal identity.

I strongly believe in the power of a trusting therapeutic relationship in helping people to discover their internal strengths. Please feel free to reach out to me and book a complementary twenty minute consultation appointment so that we can get a better idea as to whether we would be a good fit.
