Practice Information

Dr. Maureen Lee is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who sees clients in North Vancouver. She practices a client-centred approach to therapy which means you, the client, decide the outcome, goals and direction of the therapy. Clients come to Maureen Lee Counselling for a variety of reasons. Constant worry or anxiety may be stopping them from living the life they want or they may want to stop feeling sad and lonely. The stresses of work, making ends meet, and raising a family can put pressure on relationships and sometimes clients need guidance and support on how to make it all work. Clients can sometimes feel chained to the need to be all things to all people and feel like there is little left for themselves. They want to make changes in their lives, but don’t know how to start. Counselling can help. In the safety of the confidential, therapeutic relationship formed between the counsellor and the client, you can share openly and work on what you want and need. You will be listened to without judgement, your perspective heard and understood. When we have fully explored the situation or problem, we will work together to choose strategies that will be based on your strengths and needs to help you achieve your goals. Contact Maureen Lee Counselling to discuss your needs and find out how counselling can benefit you.
