Practice Information

You deserve a space where you feel truly heard, valued, and empowered to explore what matters most to you. In our work together, we’ll focus on issues where you may feel stuck or unfulfilled in life. I specialize in working through anxiety, depression, relationship issues, attachment concerns, self-esteem, and grief. We’ll explore the underlying patterns that impact your well-being and how they manifest in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, paving the way for lasting transformation.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and hold a Master’s of Counselling Psychology degree. I have extensive experience across both public and private healthcare settings. I am also a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

My approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in evidence-based methods, adapting to each client’s unique needs and circumstances. With warmth, compassion, and respect, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your inner world and uncover insights that lead to growth.

In our sessions, I use several therapeutic approaches to support your journey:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Together, we’ll identify and restructure unhelpful thought patterns, giving you tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT): I’ll guide you in safely exploring emotions to foster deeper self-acceptance and healthier connections with others.
  • Attachment-Based Therapy: We’ll explore how early relationships shape your current dynamics, helping to foster growth and healing.
  • Somatic Practices and Nervous System-Based Techniques: These approaches help regulate your body’s responses, building resilience and inner calm.
  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP): This method helps us access core emotions in a safe, nurturing environment to promote healing.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS): We’ll explore your internal landscape with curiosity and compassion, helping you understand and care for the different “parts” of you that may be in conflict, protective, or wounded.

Clients of mine often experience:

  • Clarity on the roots of their anxiety
  • Progress in moving past feelings of hopelessness
  • Understanding how past experiences shape their relationships and self-esteem
  • Healthier emotional expression
  • Greater self-compassion and self-awareness
  • Improved relationships through better communication and emotional connection
  • Insight into attachment patterns and how they impact relationships
  • Healing from painful experiences, including grief and loss
  • Recognizing and addressing unhelpful behavior and thought patterns like people-pleasing and codependency

I focus on helping my clients build emotional resilience and lasting confidence, empowering them to navigate life's challenges with clarity and inner strength.

As we address these areas, my hope is that you’ll feel more connected to yourself and empowered to live with a sense of purpose and inner peace. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I am here to walk alongside you as we gain insights, foster healing, and create meaningful growth and change. Together, we’ll help you build resilience and a deeper sense of self-worth.

In my work, I’ve witnessed the profound impact therapy can have when it’s offered with empathy, insight, and attunement. I believe healing happens when we’re truly met—when our stories are held with care and when we feel safe enough to turn inward. I see therapy not just as problem-solving, but as a space to remember who you are beneath the coping strategies, the inner critic, or the pressure to be everything to everyone.

When working with couples, I draw from both Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy. This integrative approach allows me to support couples in understanding emotional patterns, improving communication, and rebuilding trust and connection. Sessions are structured yet empathetic, helping partners feel seen, supported, and better equipped to navigate challenges together.

Many of my clients come to me feeling disconnected—from themselves, from others, or from a life that no longer feels aligned. Together, we gently untangle the layers of overwhelm, self-doubt, and emotional pain. Whether you're working through the grief of a loss, the ache of feeling "not enough," or the anxiety of never being able to slow down, I offer therapy that honors the complexity of your experience.

My areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety & Panic

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Attachment & Relationship Challenges

  • Grief

  • Life Transitions

  • Self-criticism & Self-worth & Self-esteem

  • Identifying needs and boundaries

  • Nervous System & Emotion Regulation

One of the unique aspects of my practice is that I offer virtual therapy exclusively. Far from being a limitation, this allows for increased access, flexibility, and comfort for clients, especially those balancing full lives or living in remote locations. Many clients find that doing therapy from their own space fosters a greater sense of emotional safety, and allows the work to more easily integrate into their day-to-day life. With secure and confidential video sessions, we’re still able to cultivate a deep therapeutic connection, one rooted in authenticity, presence, and trust.

My role is to walk alongside you, not to direct or fix, but to co-create a space where you can feel, question, process, and ultimately grow. I bring a deep respect for the wisdom of the body, the healing potential of emotion, and the transformative power of curiosity and compassion. Whether we're exploring early attachment wounds, regulating the nervous system, or unpacking internal conflicts through parts work, I tailor the process to support your healing and growth.

This work can be vulnerable—and it can also be freeing, clarifying, even beautiful. As you build insight and resilience, you may begin to notice subtle shifts: a softer inner voice, more ease in your relationships, the ability to pause before reacting, a greater capacity for joy, and a deeper sense of self-trust.

These are the moments I live for in this work.

You don't have to carry what you're carrying alone. Therapy can be a space to breathe, to make sense of what’s been hard, and to begin again.

If you're ready to explore your story and take meaningful steps forward, I’d be honored to support you.

I invite you to reach out.

If we're meeting for the first time, please feel free to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation with me. This initial session is an opportunity for us to connect and discuss how therapy can support you.
