Practice Information
Hello and welcome. I work with those who are experiencing the effects of trauma, the challenges of anxiety, or struggling to find their way out of burnout. I believe that regardless of what we've been through, we all have an innate capacity to heal. My goal is to help guide individuals in connecting with their authentic selves again and to navigate a path forward that is in line with what’s truly important to them. In sessions with me, you can expect to be met with warmth, curiosity, authenticity, and at times, humour.
My approach is integrative, holistic, and realistic. My work is informed by a number of modalities, including TIST (parts work), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (somatic work), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am mindful about maintaining an anti-oppressive position in my work which considers the influence of intersecting identities (such as race, gender, and sexuality) in one's lived experience. I am an ally to LGBTQ+ communities and am proud to support individuals (both clinically and personally) in exploring gender-identity and expression.
I have lived experience with trauma, loss, and chronic illness, all of which have led to embarking on my counselling journey (as a client) over the years where I have and continue to do my own work. As a counsellor, I am so grateful and privileged to be supporting others in navigating their own challenges. If you feel we may be a good fit in working together, I invite you to reach out for a free consult - I'd be happy to connect.
