Counselling Practice Website
Practice Information
I provide virtual counselling for young adults (18–35) who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful coping patterns, or impacted by past trauma. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but struggle with intense emotions, anxiety, relationship difficulties, disordered eating, or substance use that interfere with daily life and long-term goals.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and work from a trauma-informed, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)-based approach, helping clients build practical skills for emotion regulation, healthier coping, and meaningful, lasting change.
As CEO of Valour Health, I bring extensive experience supporting individuals and organizations navigating trauma, stress, and high-pressure environments. This real-world perspective informs my counselling work, allowing me to support clients who are motivated, capable, and ready to make changes but feel held back by emotional patterns shaped by trauma and life circumstances.
Therapy with me is collaborative and structured, integrating DBT, CBT, attachment-based, and trauma-informed principles. When helpful, I also draw from Narrative Therapy, Parts Work, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to support deeper understanding, connection, and change.
Sessions are virtual-only and offered to clients across British Columbia. As an RCC, sessions may be partially reimbursable through extended health insurance plans; clients are encouraged to confirm coverage directly with their provider.
