Practice Information
My work focuses on sex and intimacy therapy, relationship and couples counselling, and ADHD-informed support for adults. I work collaboratively to help clients build understanding, skills, and connection.
I view therapy as a collaborative process and work from a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens. I aim to create a space where you can explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion. I see people as capable and resourceful, and I support clients in building on their strengths as they move toward the life and relationships they want. Clients often describe my presence as warm, grounded, and supportive.
I provide phone and virtual/video counselling to clients across BC and Alberta. I work with individual adults (18+), couples and partners in diverse relationship structures, and adult family members. I welcome adults of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
Sex & Intimacy Therapy
A key area of my work is sex and intimacy therapy. I offer a safe, shame-free space to explore desire, arousal, connection, and the impact of life experiences on sexuality. I support individuals and couples/partners with desire or arousal discrepancies, low or shifting libido, sexual pain or dysfunction, sexual shame, and discomfort discussing sex. I also work with cultural, religious, or family-of-origin influences on sexuality; changes related to life transitions, including perimenopause and menopause; emotional or relational barriers to intimacy; and exploration of polyamory, ENM/CNM, or alternative relationship structures. I actively pursue ongoing advanced education in sex and intimacy therapy.
Relationship & Couples Therapy
My goals are to help partners reduce conflict, improve communication, build trust, and strengthen intimacy and shared meaning. I enjoy working with couples who want to improve connection, shift unhelpful conflict patterns, navigate intimacy or desire differences, address ADHD or neurodivergence in the relationship, repair after relational injuries (including infidelity), explore major life transitions, or examine how cultural, spiritual, or family-of-origin beliefs shape their relationship.
ADHD-Informed Counselling
As an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), I support adults with ADHD or ADHD-like traits. I help clients understand ADHD’s impact on emotions, relationships, identity, and work; build executive-function skills; improve emotional regulation; manage procrastination and overwhelm; navigate ADHD within families; and reduce shame while reconnecting with strengths and values. My approach blends structure, warmth, and practical strategies.
Additional Areas of Practice
I also support with anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, emotional regulation, identity exploration, personal or spiritual development, parenting experiences, anger, boundary setting, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, sleep challenges, and communication concerns.
Approach & Training
My work is grounded in CBT and integrates ACT, DBT, narrative therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, polyvagal theory, and other evidence-informed modalities. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA). I have completed specialized training in ADHD and foundational sexology courses and am committed to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
