NOTE: I currently provide online and in-person therapy services
When life feels overwhelming or uncertain, it can be difficult to know what direction to take or how to make sense of what is happening. My therapeutic work is rooted in the idea that clarity and healing come through understanding yourself more fully. By taking a closer look at what lies beneath the surface of your everyday experience, we may discover what patterns, feelings, and stories may be shaping your experience in ways that are no longer helpful. I value depth, complexity, and the uniqueness of your experience and circumstances to understand the roots of your challenges and their uniquely suitable solutions. This may include taking into consideration the impact of culture, neurodivergence, gender, race, sexuality, politics, ability, and other important identities and factors. Through finding your own truth, you can find your way in the world.
I am a Registered Psychologist (R.Psych.), providing psychological services in English and German in Vancouver. I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and have a background in treating individual adults and couples. My services are LGBTQ+ friendly. I am Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). I am also a member in good standing of the Canadian Psychological Association.
