Practice Information
Are you struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, depression, or low self-esteem? Facing life transitions, stress, or the challenges of being part of a cultural minority? Add immigration, culture shock, and socio-economic struggles into the mix, and life can feel quite daunting at times. I help individuals, including parents and students, manage anxiety, ease perfectionism, and build self-confidence. Having immigrated to Canada from South Korea at age 2, and as a parent myself, I can understand how cultural transitions, family expectations, and identity issues affect mental health. My goal is to help clients find clarity, resilience, and lasting change.
In our work together, I integrate Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and attachment science. We’ll explore your emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and gain insight into family-of-origin dynamics to foster deeper self-understanding and self-compassion.
I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, heard, and safe. My role is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges, build on your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and fulfilling.
