Psychedelic Preparation & Integration Counselling

Nurturing Transformation

Psychedelic experiences can be beautiful, opening the door to profound insights, emotional breakthroughs, and deep healing. They can also be challenging, bringing up painful memories, unexpected emotions, and paradoxical questions. Without support, these moments may overwhelm us or fade away before we have the chance to weave their meaning into our daily lives.

Wherever your journey takes you, you don’t have to walk the path alone. You deserve to feel safe and empowered every step of the way.

Psychedelic preparation and integration counselling provides you with guidance and support before and after your experience.

Preparation counselling can help you:

  • Clarify intentions — explore your reasons for seeking a psychedelic experience and what you hope to receive from the process.
  • Set realistic expectations — learn what to expect and how experiences can vary.
  • Build emotional readiness — develop tools to navigate strong emotions or challenging moments.
  • Establish safety practices — create a supportive physical, mental, and relational environment.
  • Explore personal themes — reflect on life areas that may arise during your journey.
  • Strengthen self-awareness — connect with your values, boundaries, and needs.
  • Create a follow-up plan — know how to approach integration afterward to maximize benefit.

Integration counselling can help you:

  • Make sense of your experience — explore the insights, images, and emotions that arose.
  • Stay grounded — find ways to process overwhelming or confusing material in a safe space.
  • Transform insight into action — translate what you learned into meaningful changes in daily life.
  • Work through challenges — gently address any difficult memories, feelings, or questions that surfaced.
  • Deepen connection — strengthen your relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you.
  • Cultivate resilience — develop practices that support long-term growth and wellbeing.
  • Integrate holistically — weave mind, body, and spirit into a more balanced way of being.

Hi, I’m Jessica (she/her)

Registered Clinical Counsellor & Nectara Psychedelic Guide

For the past six years, I’ve been supporting people as they navigate psychedelic experiences. Along the way, I’ve witnessed many courageous journeys of personal growth, healing, and spiritual exploration. One thing I’ve learned is how vital thoughtful preparation and integration are for turning these experiences into lasting change.

Approach

My approach is trauma-informed and empowerment-focused. I aim to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your hopes and fears, process your experiences, and carry your insights forward in meaningful ways. I draw on a variety of practices to help you connect with your inner wisdom and innate capacity to heal and thrive.

In addition to supporting individuals with psychedelic harm reduction, preparation, and integration, I work with people who want to cultivate greater self-compassion, deepen their connection to their authentic self, and build healthier relationships. I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals, often incorporating somatic, attachment, experiential, and mindfulness-based therapy techniques.
