Practice Information
I grew up in mainland China and relocated to Vancouver in 2021. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Since 2012, I’ve been married to my Canadian husband, and together we are raising three wonderful children, born in 2016, 2018, and 2020. As both a parent and a professional, I strive to cultivate a family life grounded in lifelong learning and mutual growth—believing deeply that the family unit is the foundation for both children and parents to realize their fullest potential.
As a counsellor, I am passionate about empowering women of all ages, couples (including cross-cultural relationships), busy mothers, immigrants, and parents navigating the many challenges of modern life. I support couples who are struggling in their relationships, helping them build communication skills, increase emotional awareness, and foster deeper connection. I also help parents understand their own personality traits as well as their children’s, offering practical guidance on how to nurture their family relationships so that both parents and children can grow, thrive, and fulfill their potential. A key part of my work is helping parents raise emotionally ready and resilient children, prepared to meet life’s challenges with confidence and empathy.
My approach is client-centered and integrative, drawing from a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s unique story. I use a trauma-informed approach to help clients heal from past emotional wounds, unresolved grief, and major life disruptions, including divorce, breakups, miscarriages, and the sudden loss of loved ones.
I am an ICBC-approved counsellor, offering support to individuals recovering from motor vehicle accidents.
I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can take practical, empowered steps toward healing, personal growth, and lasting change. My mission is to walk alongside each client on their journey toward self-discovery, self-realization, and emotional well-being.
