Practice Information
Hi! I'm Isabelle (she/her), and I am so glad you are here! I believe that we are human first, and that human connection is the foundation for the therapeutic process. I would be honoured to walk alongside you during your journeys towards healing, processing, growth, and discovery and provide a safe space to listen to, witness, and learn from you. I am passionate about working with individuals dealing with presenting issues such as relational issues (family, friends, romantic and/or sexual partners), anxiety, depression, PTSD and CPTSD, life transitions, and sexual trauma, sex and sexuality.
My practice is grounded in trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, 2SLGBTQI+ affirming practices, and I am committed to the continual learning and practice of cultural humility. I have received training in a trauma-therapy method of Observed and Experiential Integration (Level 1), the Gottman Method for couples, Sex and Trauma, and sexual competency training. As a lifelong learner and an individual working with dynamic populations, I often engage in continuing education and other learning and community-building opportunities to ensure I am maintaining preparedness for what clients may bring forward.
I am passionate about building connection and safety with each of my clients to ensure they are receiving the care best suited to them. I offer a free fifteen minute introductory consult, whether in-person or online, to see if we are a good fit. I am also available through email to address any questions or concerns you may have.
When I am not with clients, you may find me embracing creativity through art or movement, getting cozy with some tea and a book, or spending time caring for my many houseplants!
