Practice Information
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and over 7 years of experience in the eating disorder field. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and chronic shame. I work with both athletes and non-athletes in recovery from disordered eating. For those who are not in sport, I offer a space to explore how food, body, identity, and self-worth intersect — and how these patterns may have developed as ways of coping. Together, we move at your pace, working toward a more compassionate and connected relationship with yourself and your body.
I bring a feminist, intersectional approach to therapy, recognizing how systemic and cultural factors shape your lived experience. My work integrates Internal Family Systems (parts work), mindful self-compassion, and trauma-informed yoga practices to support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and body-based healing. As a retired competitive athlete, I also bring lived experience to my work with athletes struggling with performance pressure, identity loss, and the often-hidden toll of sport culture. I help athlete clients reconnect with their whole selves — because you’re human first.
Clients describe me as warm, encouraging, insightful, and non-judgemental. I offer a safe, collaborative space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered to move toward healing — at your own pace.
