Practice Information
Feeling lost, misunderstood, or stuck? I understand — I’ve been there.
Alongside my professional experience as a therapist, I also bring the perspective of being a child of divorce, an immigrant, a wife, and a mother.
My own healing journey and continuing professional development guide me through my work. In addition to that, I deeply believe in your inner wisdom, and I will support you in accessing it.
I work collaboratively with clients, helping them feel more present and connected, heal emotional wounds, and learn new skills. Through the therapy process with me, you will get to know yourself at a deeper level, moving towards goals and actions that better fulfill your needs.
My approach to counselling is client-centred, relational, and experiential. This means that my primary focus is building a therapeutic relationship in which you feel safe, accepted, and free to experience yourself fully. From there, my genuine, caring, and gentle guidance will support you on a journey of self-discovery and healing.
Many people I work with find relief in knowing they are not alone in their experiences. Some of the areas I have personally navigated include complex family dynamics, immigration, marriage and divorce, parenting, neurodiversity, relational trauma, anxiety, depression, as well as the unique challenges faced by invisible minorities.
If you are ready to feel more present, understood, and connected — and to take steps toward a life that truly reflects your needs — I would be honored to walk alongside you.
Finding the right therapist is one of the most important steps toward meaningful self-development and achieving your goals. I hope to make this process a little easier by sharing some of my story with you.
I was born and raised in Brazil, and from a young age I knew I wanted to become a psychotherapist. At twenty-five, I became a Registered Psychologist in my home country. A few years later, I immigrated to Canada, where I have continued both my professional growth as a therapist and my own personal journey. These experiences have shaped who I am and continue to inspire much of what I bring to my work with clients.
