Practice Information
Do you need a safe space to share and reflect, feel your emotions, develop new skills and overcome limiting patterns? Are you experiencing loss or undergoing a life transition such as career, relationship or midlife changes? Do you struggle with self-esteem, self-care, or recognizing your needs and boundaries? Might you be queer or neuro-diverse and want an affirming and inclusive therapist who can help you with stress and identity-related issues? Or, perhaps are you having relationship challenges, including issues with attachment, communication or codependency? Have you suffered from trauma and need to process it?
I specialize in treating trauma, attachment injury, life transitions and significant changes such as aging, career, perimenopause, menopause and relationship loss, and supporting 2SLGBTQ+ folx. My work is relational, inclusive, trauma-informed and holistic. It includes mind-body-emotion processing and, perhaps, spiritual inquiry. I have extensive training in C-PTSD and somatics, and 25+ years on a spiritual path including mindfulness, yoga, breathwork and meditation. My approach is also informed by an MA in Counselling Psychology, and training in Somatic Experiencing (SE), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), somatic psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
I have had life challenges and have learned along the way how to be resilient, to value and trust myself, write a new story, and practice self-compassion. I am a caring and warm therapist who can help you through tough times, and to learn and grow. I invite you to connect with me for a consultation to see if we may be a suitable fit.
Please contact me if you may be interested in having a free 15-minute phone or video consultation to see if we may be a good fit.
