Practice Information

Are you in a season of struggle and looking for clarity and support to help you move through difficulty? Perhaps you have reached your tipping point, feel isolated and alone, unsure of yourself, struggle with self-worth, emotionally overwhelmed, or turn away from vulnerability. Or perhaps big changes have turned your world upside down and you are now trying to find your footing and make sense of it all. Whatever has led you here, please know that your journey doesn't have to be taken alone.

When alongside a trusted other, change and healing are possible. Together we can uncover unhelpful patterns, process difficult emotional and relational experiences, and become more deeply connected to ourselves and others.

I bring warmth and care into our sessions so that we can attend to your inner experience with gentle curiosity. Together we will explore and deepen your emotional experiences, increase self-awareness (mind and body), and tap into your resilience and hope.

I get that life can be overwhelming and messy regardless of age and life stage. There were times when I found myself in the client's seat and benefitted from the support of someone who helped me make sense of my experience.

Whether you are new to counselling or have experienced it many times over, I welcome you. If you are curious about how our time together can help you move forward, feel free to connect with me for an unhurried virtual consultation.

A Bit About Me.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor living and practicing in Vancouver, BC. I am passionate about supporting clients through their struggles and consider it a real privilege to be a part of such meaningful work. I have a special interest in working with youth (19+), adults, and parents experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, grief, or issues related to difficult early life events and experiences. My role is to walk alongside clients, similar to a guide who points out places of interest worth deeper exploration and self-reflection. Your goals for change are important to me. Therefore, my aim is to support you toward such change by offering quality client care built on the foundation of trust and safety so that clients may openly share their worries and concerns with me.

I have previously worked with youth and young adults with signs of anxiety, depression, dissociation, high-risk behaviours (e.g. suicidality and self-harm), abandonment, systemic oppression, and early attachment trauma. I have also supported a diverse population of distressed callers on a crisis line and volunteered with youth in various capacities. My background also includes communications and advocacy work supporting youth, women, and families. In addition to formal graduate and post-graduate training, I also draw on the wisdom that comes from a unique blend of personal life experiences both as a parent and someone who has benefitted from being in the client seat as well.

I practice from an attachment-based, trauma-informed lens and use an integrated model, which means I intentionally draw from modalities that best fit you and your goals.

I get that life can be hard, overwhelming, and messy regardless of age and life stage. Although our stories may be different, I believe we share in our vulnerability, desire for change, and need for genuine connection.
