Practice Information

Are you feeling worn down by life's futilities? Perhaps your best intentions and efforts seem inadequate, leaving you to feel disconnected or down on yourself. As a counsellor, Andrew cherishes the invitation to come alongside you and bare witness to your regeneration and transformation. He believes in the power of new growth, and that we are most receptive to change while experiencing acceptance and compassion. Together, we can navigate the emotional distress that comes with the complexity of being in relationship, facing loss, and recovering from intergenerational trauma.

Upon meeting Andrew online or in-person, you will quickly feel his warm, calm presence. Your interaction with him is embedded in kindness, respect, and sensitivity.  As a counselor, Andrew holds therapeutic space for you to engage and explore your emotional landscape while reaching personal goals and creating the changes you desire. You will be encouraged to be an active agent who has inner strength and direction to live a fulfilling life and pursue more meaningful relationships.

Andrew is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and co-founder of Meander Wellbeing. He works from an eco-centric approach that weaves together embodied practices, creative arts therapies, eco-therapy and systemic/relational therapy. You can expect an ethical trauma-informed workspace to deepen your sense of connection with your body, others, and the natural world. He offers therapy for couples, individuals, and families at all places along the life cycle. His therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and adapted to your unique goals for therapy.

Supporting people to feel alive and real is Andrew's passion, which may mean working through a loss, or life transition or helping you become more accepting of yourself. His hope is to help you cultivate a more nourishing life that you can feel proud of and grateful for.

Outside counseling, Andrew is grateful to share life alongside his loving wife, adventurous son, and energizing dog Bodhi who is training to offer animal-assisted therapy .
