Practice Information
Compassion, presence and curiosity are the foundation of my therapeutic approach. At certain points in life things can feel overwhelming and confusing, especially when approached alone. Our relationships and work may suffer, and we may feel we are lost, overwhelmed, and working against ourselves. I help clients explore their experiences, relationships, values and beliefs, develop a better relationship with themselves and others, and offer guidance for nervous system regulation, self trust and compassion. By working together to create a safe and approachable internal world, we can begin to get curious about ourselves, notice patterns, process old wounds, and build self trust, acceptance, and empowerment.
I value genuine connection, humour, and collaboration as powerful avenues towards healing, and strive to meet clients where they are. Depending on your goals for therapy, sessions may be a balance of processing, releasing, accepting and learning, and ultimately a space where you get to know yourself better. Our work together will be experiential and reflective, drawing on your inner strengths and fostering tools for self awareness, inquiry and resilience. My approach is relational, trauma informed, and attachment based, using theories of Emotion Focused Therapy, Parts work (IFS), Somatic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion and Mindfulness based approaches. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and hold an M.Ed in Counselling Psychology, a B.Ed in Secondary Education, and a B.A in Comparative Religion & Philosophy (Buddhism and Philosophy focus).
I offer in-person sessions on Tuesdays and online sessions throughout the week for children (10+), youth and adults. If you’d like to book a complimentary consultation, please visit my website or reach out by email. I look forward to connecting with you!
