If you want to change your life, therapy is a great way to start.
I help people develop coping skills to manage difficult emotions. With 24 years of experience, I provide a supportive setting to help you regulate your emotions, make positive changes, and overcome difficulties.
But, the first step is reaching out for help.. I provide therapy for clients who struggle with all sorts of issues. My clients often suffer with anxiety, depression, life transitions, PTSD/trauma, ADHD, family issues, borderline personality disorder (BPD), panic attacks, mood swings, and relationship problems.
I also work closely with family doctors and psychiatrists through my other job at Fraser Health. In addition, I take on a limited number of couples who are struggling with communication, stress, infidelity and intimacy/sexual issues using evidence based couples therapy EFT (emotionally focused therapy).
- I offer you a free 15 minute consultation to field questions and to see if it is a good fit.
- For your first 50 minute session, I offer a comprehensive mental health evaluation and a clinical impression of your diagnosis.
- I also provide evidence-based trauma counseling called Exposure Therapy for those who are working through trauma, abuse and/or sexual assault.
- I can guide you through the mental health care system to get you connected with a psychiatrist for a medication review and CBT group therapy, if you're interested.
