As a counsellor, Rosanne offers therapy to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community in Greater Vancouver and Burnaby. She understands how important it is for these populations to have a therapist who understands their culture and lifestyle. Rosanne provides counselling to those struggling with past trauma or emotional pain, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, problems coming out, or confusion and pain about sexual or gender identity.
Please note: During the Covid-19 out break I am still accepting new clients and am offering phone and video sessions via FaceTime or Skype for clients who are distancing or quarantined.
Rosanne uses a variety of proven counselling and therapy techniques to assist those in the LGBT community to create meaningful and rich lives. As a couple’s and relationship therapist, she helps people create healthy and fulfilling relationships. Rosanne also helps people resolve uncertainty about their sexuality or sexual or gender identity.
Rosanne is also pleased to offer Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to her clients as a way to help them overcome issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship or intimacy issues. Horses are wonderful teachers, leaders and healers and are said to mirror our inner lives in a way that leads to greater insight and understanding.
Rosanne holds a masters degree in counselling psychology. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with offices in Burnaby and Vancouver. She also practices Equine Assisted Counselling in Richmond. As a counsellor and therapist, she has helped hundreds of people in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community in the past.
