Practice Information
I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, low self-esteem, and life transitions. This can include any problematic emotions or problems that have become barriers to achieving happiness and well-being. My intention is to provide a safe and open space where you can be witnessed for who you are and your experiences.
I pull from a wide range of theoretical tools that I have learned to support those who want to better understand themselves and develop strategies to overcome challenges. With over ten years in the mental health field, my approach aims to promote personal growth and focuses on symptom reduction. Often, this results in an improved relationship with the self and others as well as an enhanced quality of life. The deeper that we understand ourselves the more opportunity we have to live in alignment with our wants and values and make clear decisions.
I view counselling as a special type of relationship, one that promotes self-reflection and the opportunity to explore new perspectives through wholehearted support and guidance. Often, difficult times can seem daunting and lonely but I see that there is always room for hope, healing, self-discovery, and ultimately, change.
*Offering free 15-minute consultations to determine if my approach aligns with your needs. The counsellor-client relationship is one of the most important factors for being able to make progress in therapy and achieve wellness. I look forward to meeting you on your path and navigating the road forward together.
