Practice Information

Mary has a Ph.D. in Psychology and a doctorate in Natural Science ( Human Biology) from medical school. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), and a Certified Trauma Treatment Specialist (CTTS).

Mary works with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Her clients present a wide variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, workplace issues, challenges with parenting, and relationship concerns.

Mary has worked extensively in the areas of stress and employee assistance programs. She is a skilled facilitator of individual and group debriefings for work related critical incident stress.

In addition to her private practice work, Mary has taught courses in psychology and counselling skills, and presented workshops both locally and internationally.

She has specialized training in Stress Management, Clinical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT),Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), and  John Gottman Couples' Therapy.

Mary is registered with the Crime Victim’s Assistance Program.
