Practice Information
I’m a settler of European descent, an explorer of nature, a knitter, and a Registered Clinical Counsellor who has supported youth and adults and their mental health for over a decade. I’m a calm, curious, relaxed person who has been asking the big existential questions of who we are and why we’re here and what to do about that my whole life. I love bringing this curiosity into the counselling space and supporting you to identify how those questions are impacting you.
You may be feeling depressed, full of anxiety, working through past and current traumas, or grappling with the difficulties that being alive inevitably brings. I’ve successfully supported folks experiencing suicidal ideation, anxiety disorders, complex developmental trauma, and many other mental health issues. I have particular interest in neurodiversity and exploring how to build love and acceptance for self in order to live in meaningful and manageable ways. I also have extensive experience supporting youth and young adults exploring gender and sexual identities, and the depression and anxiety that often comes with living in a society that is geared toward cis and heteronormative ways of being.
We'll create a safe and supportive environment for you to feel comfortable opening up, identifying your struggles, and then together we will work towards possible solutions, greater confidence, and life-giving change. I have training in a variety of different evidence-based practices and will adapt my knowledge to your needs.
If this sounds like what you are looking for, I invite you to connect with me.
