Counselling Practice Website

Practice Information

We are facing a time of intense political and economic uncertainty. Many of us have concerns about affordability and the environment. These issues can contribute to feelings of anxiety, despair, and helplessness. What’s going on in the world around you understandably has a personal impact on you, and you may want extra support in navigating these challenging times.

I have worked as a counsellor for 15 years, including more than 12 years in government and non-profit organizations. In my years of working with people, I have come to strongly believe that people and their problems make sense. I can help you understand your struggles, your emotions, and yourself. I aim to understand you holistically, including your complex life and how things around you are impacting you. I strive to listen deeply, to be genuine, and to really see you.

You’re probably here because you’re struggling in some way. Maybe you find you’ve lost your way or feel stuck. Perhaps you’re hurting emotionally. Or you feel alone and like no one understands you. It could be all of that and more. Life can be so messy and hard. Counselling can help. There is hope. You may be struggling, but you are not broken.

I fundamentally believe we are all doing our best with what we’ve got right now. And sometimes we need extra support from someone, like a counsellor. I would love to help you find relief, connect with what matters to you, and experience greater fulfillment in your life. With warmth, compassion, and curiosity, I will walk with you on this journey of change.

My areas of interest include:
- Youth & young adults
- Parents
- Professionals and burnout
- Life transitions including pregnancy, post-partum, parenting, aging, career change, illness, loss, grieving, identity, and trauma
- Couples and relationships
