Practice Information

I have a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Seattle City University and an undergraduate degree in Education and Human Kinetics from The University of British Columbia. With over 15 years in the field supporting adults, I work with all types of problems people face, however I have a special interest in working with young women struggling to find their voice and reconnect to their true self. More recently, I have also developed a passion for helping couples reconnect, heal and strengthen their relationship.

I offer trauma-informed care that respects the latest in neuroscience and systems theory customized to meet each person with practices and strategies that offer sustained change and relief. There are many ways to heal, change, and grow. I am informed by the following approaches in my work with clients:

Emotional Focused Therapy

Coherence Therapy

Internal Family Systems Theory

Brene Brown Shame Resilience Theory

My counselling practice is also enriched by the following life experiences: I am a daughter who lost her mother to Alzheimer’s and understands the struggles of this disease. I am also a mother of two young adults who I love spending time with. When not working you will find me either outside pursing athletic adventures, my head in book, or spending time with family and friends.
