Hello! I'm Kendra (she/her), Registered Clinical Counsellor and owner of Hope Stone Counselling. I’m so glad you’re here.
Since 2006, I’ve had the privilege of being invited into people’s lives to offer support through life’s more difficult moments. Through the years, I’ve worked with individuals of all different backgrounds, ages, races, cultures, religions, genders, and sexual orientations. I adore the complexity and diversity of the human experience and I find myself constantly inspired by my clients.
I think of therapy as a safe and healing space where you can show up totally as you are. An hour just for you. No judgments, no expectations, just support, guidance, and skills to help you through. My therapeutic style is holistic and trauma-informed and rooted in authenticity, compassion, intuition, and good ol neuroscience. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian Theory, Art Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Embodiment Practices, and Poly-Vagal Theory.
