Practice Information
Jo is a warm and down-to-earth therapist who believes in meeting clients where they are with curiosity and compassion. With a background in both counselling and occupational therapy, she brings a passion for helping others and a deep understanding of how the mind and body work together.
Jo knows that healing isn’t about “fixing” what’s broken but about reconnecting with what’s already there—strength, resilience, and the ability to heal in connection with others. She recognizes the complexities of living in a world that isn’t always built for different ways of thinking, feeling, and processing. Her work is grounded in honouring neurodivergence as a valuable part of identity, offering a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they explore their own ways of thriving.
Jo brings experience working with adults, parents, children and youth facing a range of concerns. Common counselling concerns she is passionate about supporting are:
-
anxiety and overwhelm
-
emotional regulation
-
life transitions (e.g., divorce, relocation, developmental shifts)
-
attachment wounds and relational patterns
-
burnout and caregiving fatigue
She is currently accepting new clients for virtual or in-person sessions for clients in Aldergrove, and offers virtual sessions across BC.
