Practice Information
Do you struggle with anxiety or depression that affects your day-to-day life or even your relationships? Do you feel emotionally exhausted or overwhelmed by just trying to get through the day? Do you recognize something in your life needs to change, but you don't know what or where to start? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious or overwhelmed about finding their place in life and this is deeply impacting their relationships, work, and quality of life.
I have been working in the field of mental health with over 8 years of experience with a desire to help improve the lives of people I connect with from all walks of life. I have worked in varying capacities with people facing issues of depression, anxiety, loss, grief, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and chronic pain. I provide a trauma-informed and person-centered approach to create a safe space to share, welcome diversity, and grow empowerment.
As a registered social worker, I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development. This allows me to stay up to date on the latest research and best practices in the field and provide the highest quality of care to those I serve. Beyond my Master of Social Work degree, I have completed some post graduate education and experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure response prevention, dialectal behavior therapy, narrative therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma informed practice.
The unique combination of my educational and professional experiences has led me to develop a holistic and nonjudgemental approach, so you can feel like you’re being heard. I hope to help you to understand your emotions, learn coping strategies, and improve your relationships. Email me today for a free consultation and we’ll take the first step together.
