Practice Information

Helping people to find their way through mid-life’s challenges and transitions. Life can be a wonderful mix of challenges and opportunities. Lately it may feel like mostly demands and responsibilities have been piling up on your plate, getting heavier by the day. You're doing your best to push through it, to show up– after all you have some life experience under your belt. You put your best efforts forward, but it’s not always clear how to navigate the challenges ahead. You find your mind spinning in circles around the question “how did I get here?” It might be quite overwhelming and lonely on this journey.

Together we will try to navigate and find that Middle Way through life’s challenges by learning to accept and process things that cannot be changed and to find ways of adjusting to a new reality. We may not always be certain what is unfolding in front of us, but we do have a choice of facing it with compassion, authenticity and resiliency.

I encourage people to accept themselves as they are, being perfectly imperfect in the rainbow of their human experiences– vulnerable, creative, stressed out, joyful, frustrated, excited, whatever shows up at their door! Counseling can allow you to be your most present self with the pleasant, unpleasant and neutral parts of your journey.

We all have unique needs. My common practice areas include but are not limited to:

  • Middle Life Transitions (Work-Life Balance, Empty Nest Syndrome, Relocation/Immigration)

  • Living with Uncertainty

  • Anxiety and Depression Symptom Management
