Feeling lost, misunderstood, stuck? I have been there. Besides being an experienced therapist, I am also a child of divorce, immigrant, wife, and mother.
My own healing journey and continuing professional development guide me through my work. In addition to that, I deeply believe in your inner wisdom, and I will support you in accessing it.
I work collaboratively with clients helping them feel more present and connected, heal emotional wounds, and learn new skills. Through the therapy process with me you will get to know yourself at a deeper level, moving towards goals and action that better fulfill your needs.
My approach to counselling is Client-Centred, Relational, and Experiential. This means that my primary focus is building a therapeutic relationship in which you feel safe, accepted and free to experience yourself in your totality. From there, my genuine, caring and gentle guidance will help you on a journey of self-discovery and healing.
I hold a deep respect for individuals' uniqueness. In order to honour each client's needs and goals, I may integrate other approaches and techniques into my work such as Somatic Therapy, Expressive-Arts, Sand Tray Therapy, Focusing-Oriented Therapy, Gestalt, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Some of the issues I help clients with are: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, low self-esteem, grief and loss, immigration challenges, life transitions, and parenting difficulties. Please check my website for more details about how I can help you.
