Practice Information

Hi there, I'm Clayton! I've been working as a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC for over a decade and have had the opportunity to work with people through many walks of life. I focus on processing significant life transitions, crises, grief, and trauma, and relieving depression and anxiety for adults, young adults, and teens. I also have extensive clinical experience in supporting individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder.

Above all, I strive to be compassionate in all areas of life, both in and outside of the counselling room. For those of you who are feeling directionless and purposeless in life, my hope is to meet you with the kind of compassion that makes you feel heard, valued, and worthy of positive growth.

Having previously worked as a journalist, janitor, construction worker and kids’ camp counsellor, I know what it’s like to take time finding your way in life! I have also benefited so much from counselling in my own life—it took me a while to finally follow my strengths in finding a career rather than trying to fix what I saw as my weaknesses. This significant challenge turned into one of my biggest strengths, as I have been able to work through my own struggles and life transitions with the help of counselling. Today, I am honoured to be able to provide that service to others.

No matter where you are in life, I welcome you to connect with us at connect@skylarkclinic.ca to get set up with the right support for you.
