Compassionate Therapy for Personal Growth, Anxiety, Eating Disorders & Life Transitions

Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or life transitions? Struggling with an eating disorder or seeking support for perinatal mental health challenges? I specialize in helping adults navigate life's difficulties by providing a safe, empathetic space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My Approach to Therapy:

I believe that we are all constantly in process—life is about growth, not perfection. Many of us are trapped in the belief that there’s a destination to reach—whether it’s happiness, success, or a sense of belonging. This pressure can leave us feeling anxious, stuck, or defeated. Rather than focusing solely on outcomes, I encourage a deeper exploration of your inner world with curiosity and compassion.

Together, we will move away from the need to "fix" or "do" everything perfectly. Instead, I support you in developing a more flexible and nurturing relationship with yourself and the challenges life brings. This process allows you to be more present, grounded, and resilient, even in difficult times.

Therapy Specialties:

  • Eating Disorders: I provide a non-judgmental, supportive environment to help you heal your relationship with food, body image, and self-worth.
  • Anxiety & Stress: If you're struggling with constant worry, panic, or overwhelm, we’ll work together to build tools for calm, emotional regulation, and resilience.
  • Perinatal Mental Health: Whether you're navigating pregnancy, postpartum challenges, or adjusting to life with a newborn, I offer specialized support to foster emotional wellbeing during this transformative time.
  • Life Transitions: Moving through major life changes like career shifts, relationship challenges, or identity exploration can be overwhelming. Let’s work together to help you find clarity and confidence in your next steps.
  • Relationship Challenges: From communication struggles to attachment concerns, I can help you build healthier, more fulfilling relationships with partners, family, and friends.

My Therapeutic Approach:

I take an integrative approach, blending evidence-based therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and attachment-focused work with an emphasis on nervous system regulation. My core style is client-centered, meaning our work will be tailored to fit your unique needs, goals, and challenges.

By addressing both the mind and the body, I help clients build lasting tools to cultivate a meaningful, balanced life—one that honors your personal values and goals, rather than chasing elusive ideals.

What to Expect in Therapy:

  • Develop tools and skills to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm.
  • Increase self-awareness and gain a deeper understanding of the beliefs and patterns that shape your behaviors.
  • Build emotional resilience and a sense of safety within yourself, especially in times of uncertainty or change.
  • Cultivate greater self-compassion and acceptance as you learn to navigate life’s challenges more flexibly.

If you're ready to stop chasing an idealized version of happiness and start embracing the full, imperfect beauty of life as it is, I’m here to help. Together, we can unlock new levels of understanding and growth, bringing you closer to the person you are meant to become.
