Practice Information
Do you feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in old patterns? Are you grappling with something difficult? Or maybe, you just don't feel like 'you' anymore.
Or, are you new to an Autism/ASD or ADHD/ADD diagnosis, think you might have a diagnosis, or want to build self understanding and new strategies.
Welcome! I'm Alisa, and I'm here to support you toward a better life. I offer counselling for anxiety, addiction, depression, difficult life transitions, and trauma. I also offer affirming therapy for ADHD/ADD and Autism/ASD. With over 30 year of experience in counselling, youth work, and education, I've supported hundreds of clients to grow and live their best lives. Don't wait, call me today.
Therapy at Growing Minds is more than a one-sided conversation. I bring compassion, deep listening, and a touch of humor. I use reflection, insightful questions, and gentle challenges to help you to dig a little deeper, process difficult emotions, recognize your strengths, and safely explore what matters most to you. I also bring the hope and understanding that it is possible to come to terms, work through, overcome, and live better lives. Tailoring treatment for each client I use cognitive behaviour, solution focused, narrative, and family systems therapy.
I'm here to help. In our sessions you'll find a safe, judgment free space where we can explore your strengths and challenges as we chart a path forward together. From our very first session we will identify practice steps to cope, find relief, and envision a future where these struggles no longer define you.
Are you ready to take the next step towards a brighter tomorrow? Schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation with me today, and let's begin.
