Whether trying therapy has been an unfulfilled new year’s resolution for the past number of years, something that just came to mind recently, or you have done some work in the past and feel like it’s time to tackle new issues – I am here to help.

For 15 years, I have had the honour and privilege of walking alongside youth, adults and their family members as they worked towards building a life that aligns more closely with their values and goals. I have received training and worked in clinical counselling roles at Princess Margaret Cancer Care Centre, York University, BC Women's Hospital, and Foundry. I am constantly humbled people’s resilience and courage to be vulnerable, and strongly believe in everyone’s capacity for healing and growth.

I have advanced training in a number of evidence-based interventions and frameworks, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-informed practices, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), attachment theory, and justice-oriented work.   In our work together, I will engage you in a collaborative process of deciding upon the approach that works for you and your unique situation.  I strive to foster a caring, trauma-informed, and culturally affirming space for you to explore the issues that have brought you to therapy and improve your quality of life, whether it be through learning ways to cope through difficult emotions, developing intimacy in your relationships with others, or supporting loved ones who are struggling with mental health and addictions.
