With over 10 years of experience in the field, I truly believe that healing and growth begins when a client and counsellor enter a relationship of trust, safety, and confidence. My counselling style is rooted in the idea that I must adapt my techniques to a client’s needs rather than use a one size fits all approach, where I use Trauma-Focused therapy, EMDR, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Logotherapy, and a Person-Centred approach. I love using Art-Therapy when it is difficult to express feelings into words and I welcome my clients to explore healing with different art mediums. I have expertise in working with individuals, relationships, and families from all walks of life and am passionate about supporting clients with various traumas, life transitions, and mental health diagnoses. I have worked with victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, with immigrants and refugees, with the LGBTQ+ community, indigenous peoples, substance use and addictions, and many others. I am also eager to support clients in both English and Spanish!
