Practice Information
My name is Kevin (he/him) and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor who sees clients in Vancouver. I hold a Master's of Counselling Psychology degree and have extensive experience in treating individuals dealing with a variety of mental health issues. As a gay male, I have a personal understanding of the unique challenges faced by the 2SLGBTQ+ community and aim to provide a safe and supportive space for my clients.
Sometimes the stories we tell ourselves, or that other people tell us about ourselves, don’t serve us. I believe that individuals have the ability to rewrite their own stories and gain control over their lives. I work collaboratively with clients to help them explore their personal narratives and discover new, more empowering stories that allow them to move forward in a positive direction. I have helped clients dealing with addictive disorders, symptoms of anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and relationship issues.
I take an empathetic and non-judgmental approach, which allows clients to feel heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. I have a passion for helping individuals build resilience and discover their own strengths, and I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to create tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
Overall, I am dedicated to helping individuals improve their mental health and achieve a greater sense of well-being. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and positive change, and I am committed to supporting my clients as they work towards their personal goals.
