Practice Information

No matter who we are, life has its up and downturns.

Happiness is said to be a rich sense of well-being that comes only from knowing our internal self. A large part of what generates happiness is our cognition. Through our knowing of our deepest part, we are able to respond to our real needs, that we are able to become productive and creative with all that life offers - both the good and the bad. With self awareness in place, we will learn to comprehend our internal self as it is very much influenced by our past.

Art therapy helps to bring us closer to our awareness and self understanding, that we can empower ourselves into choosing other options whenever we feel stuck in life. It is a form of psychotherapy utilizing art as an exploratory base. The art expression itself uses imagery, mostly of lines, shapes and colors in accordance to your needs for a pure purpose of releasing what is being kept inside. No artistic skill is required. The art itself serves as a referral point for discussion. Since images do come before words as this is an innate ability in human, art therapy enables a direct penetration into our inner world naturally and instantly. Because it is so natural, often it comes with unexpected findings that may surprise us.

My role as an art therapist is to assist you 1) to truly see your present state of function of body and mind, 2) to understand the nature of your sufferings, 3) to find the key to your obstacles, 4) to discover and to guide and to focus on your inner strength which you already possess but without being fully utilized or recognized, 5) to lessen your fear  and to guide you to a better coping strategy towards hope in order to reach your fullest in life.

I am more than happy to assist you with cross cultural counseling as I have lived in Asia, North America and Europe. I can assure you that our session is safe and confidential, that I am a warm, responsible person with integrity.
