Counselling Practice Website

Practice Information

I have a Masters Degree in Social Work and 25 years of professional experience helping individuals, couples and families from a range of backgrounds deal with a variety challenges. As well as providing counseling through Family Services of Greater Vancouver, I am currently in private practice as a counselor in Delta.

I assist clients struggling with issues including adjusting to new realities in health, work, and family configuration, relationship difficulties, trauma and grief, anxiety and depression, chronic illness and developmental disabilities, and issues related to human development including adolescence and mid-life. I believe that every difficult situation contains within it the opportunity for growth, vitality and peace. In my work, I strive to offer new perspectives and skills and to help clients to clarify and understand their issues, create a new direction or plan and to re-establish confidence and hope.

My approach is professional but relaxed and I am guided in my practice by the needs of my clients, my well-developed intuition, and by various therapeutic approaches (Brief Solution Focused, Family Systems Theory, Developmental Theory, and Emotion-Focused Therapy).
