Practice Information
Being human means experiencing the ups and downs of life. Inevitably, we will go through difficult experiences that can negatively impact our wellbeing. This can cause us to turn inward, afraid of burdening others with our struggles. However, we are hard-wired for connection, and I believe that therapy is a transformative tool to facilitate this connection and to develop a more compassionate understanding of Self. I specialize in supporting individuals to cultivate resiliency, develop essential skills to navigate stress, find meaning and improve their life.
My approach is humanistic, strength-based and trauma-informed, designed to meet you where you are. You are the expert of your life; my role is to remind you of your capabilities and build your resources and coping strategies to create positive, lasting change.
My background in meditation and mindful movement means I appreciate the interconnected nature of mental and physical health and the importance of building inner awareness to manage how we respond to the outside world. With an authentic, warm and non-judgemental presence, I aim to provide space for us to work together to facilitate your healing and growth.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #23276), I hold a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology with Distinction from Yorkville University and a Masters degree in Communication from University of Ulster. I am a certified mindfulness meditation instructor and a trauma-informed yoga teacher and have completed additional certifications in yoga and breathwork.
You can book a free, virtual consultation so we can get to know one another and see if we're a good fit. We'll talk about challenges or changes you may be experiencing and ways to help you move forward, so that you can feel joy and fulfillment in your life.
