Meet Dizzy (they/them),

Dizzy is a knowledgeable Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and the program director of Companion Planting Counselling, based on lək̓ʷəŋən territory (Victoria, BC).

As a trans, non-binary, polyamorous, neurodiverse, disabled, queer individual and professional, Dizzy understands the complexities of navigating intersecting identities. Their goal is to create an inclusive space where every aspect of a client’s identity is welcomed and supported.

With over ten years of experience working with children, youth, families, and adults in both Alberta and BC, Dizzy has a diverse background that includes roles in group care, before-and-after school programs, in-school support as an educational assistant, community center youth groups, shelters, and counselling.

This extensive experience lays the foundation for the collaborative therapeutic relationships they build with clients of all ages.

In addition to traditional counselling, Dizzy offers body doubling and resourcing to provide diversified support.

Dizzy works with individuals, relationships/couples of all structure and durations (new, long term, monogamous and ethical non-monogamous), and families of all strucutres (bio, chosen, or given).

While they primarily serve clients aged 5 and older, family sessions are all ages.

  • Gender-Affirming Care (Hormone & Surgical Readiness Assessments):
    Support for individuals in determining their readiness for hormones or surgery, and qualified to complete needed documents



  • Relationship Therapy Trainings:

    The Institute for Relational Intimacy -Ethical Non Monogamy

    Gottman Method, Level - Relationship counselling practices using the Gottman Method.

  • EMDR Trained:

    Bilateral stimulation and rapid eye movement processing- Group EMDR- integration of IGPT & G-REP, A-TIP and CiD EMDR-condensed protocol/ traumatic event protocol
  • Somatic Abolitionism Trained:


    Mind-body connection processing through an abolitionist lens.


    Neurodivergence Trainings:

    ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) Certification
