Practice Information

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or unsure of your next step. Maybe stress has been building for a long time, or you are noticing old patterns that make it hard to feel grounded and confident. You might be navigating a major life transition, struggling with self-esteem or boundaries, or searching for clarity and meaning. Whatever brings you here, you deserve support, and you do not have to move through this alone.

My role is to help you reconnect with yourself, understand what you are experiencing, and find a path forward that feels right for you. Many clients come to me for support with anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, and life transitions. Together, we will explore what is getting in the way of your well-being, build tools for coping, and create space for healing and growth.

I offer a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down and speak freely. My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and integrative, drawing on evidence-based practices to meet your unique needs. Whether you want practical strategies, deeper insight, or simply a supportive place to land, I will meet you where you are and support you at a pace that feels comfortable.

If you are navigating the pressures of family expectations or the complexity of cultural identity, I understand how challenging this can feel and will work with you in a way that honors your lived experience.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Before becoming a counsellor, I spent more than a decade as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse, supporting individuals and families through some of their most difficult moments. This background shaped my understanding of how stress, trauma, grief, and life transitions affect both mind and body, and it informs the care I provide today.

If you are hoping to feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself, I am here to help. When you feel ready, I invite you to book a consultation or session.

Please note: emails/messages sent to Cynthia through the CounsellingBC.com website are forwarded to the confidential inbox of the Clinical Director of Gravitate Counselling Inc., who can answer your questions and/or help you book your first appointment with her.
