Practice Information
Life can have many challenges. Sometimes you can navigate through difficult things on your own while some issues are not so easily resolved. If you’re having a rough time and unsure how to get started, counselling can help! Counselling is a chance to feel seen and heard and, if we work together, we become a team of sorts. We collaborate to determine a deeper understanding of your situation and create helpful solutions. I assist in this process by drawing on a number of theoretical frameworks to support you in this work.
I am passionate about helping you manage better and feel happier. If you are a person who longs for such changes but doesn’t feel that traditional counselling is a good fit, neurofeedback may be a great option! Neurofeedback is a non-invasive option that draws on the brain’s ability to self-adjust for more optimal functioning. Clients report increased mental clarity, enhanced focus, improved sleep, reduced anxiety/depression, less reactivity, improved functioning and a greater sense of well-being. These important changes can have a profound ripple effect, positively impacting relationships, work and fulfillment.
Whether you are seeking neurofeedback or counselling, you likely want to work with an experienced therapist. I have been a therapist for over 30 years and, although acknowledging this makes me sound older than I feel, I have learned a lot from those I’ve worked with in the past. I’m happy to share all I’ve learned from clients along the way and if you think we could do some great work together, I look forward to hearing from you!
