Practice Information

I am no longer taking new clients.

Sharon Southey is a skilled professional with a nursing background, who has been counselling people since 1992. She likes to work with individuals who are teenage or adult, families of all types and couples, both queer and straight.

She has a very broad range of training and experience. Her experience and training include Psycho-dynamic Therapy, Client Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, Gottman Marital Therapy (level 2), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (level 2).

Sharon is able to match her tools to the varying needs of her clients with a common sense approach. If you need a supportive, caring environment in order to bring about change in your life, Sharon can probably help.

I offer face to face counselling, online and telephonic counselling.

A sliding scale of fees can be negotiated in special circumstances.  I am CVAP approved.

I kneel against racism, while being aware that I need to understand my own white privilege.
