Social Media Issues - Children Counsellors
Social media can create risks for children who are vulnerable and affected by inappropriate content and cyberbullying. Also the impact on mental health created by constant comparisons with others can be significant. Excessive screen time may contribute to a decline in real world social skills and overall well-being. Social media counselling can help children replace excessive social media time with productive and validating experiences.
Receiving counselling regarding ways to develope a new relationship with social media can be helpful.
