Practice Information
I am an experienced Registered Psychologist (#1577), as well as a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress. In my practice I help people working through different challenges in their life from relationship and career / workplace issues through to anxiety, depression, conflict, trauma, grief, and health concerns.
I take a practical and mindful approach to counselling, anchored in a strong therapeutic relationship, to help people accomplish their counselling goals.
My counselling work is grounded in evidence-based practice and approaches. These approaches include cognitive-behavioural therapy and EMDR. I also deeply value the wisdom and traditions of depth psychology, particularly as they inform the therapeutic relationship, and their ability to help people make deeper and lasting change in their lives through becoming more self-aware, conscious, and mindful.
In addition to my psychology practice I have served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia where I taught Trauma Counselling, Career Counselling, and Group Counselling.
I have training end experience in providing legal psychedelic-assisted therapy for treatment-resistant PTSD.
